In line with government guidance we have made changes to the way that we look after patients because of the coronavirus outbreak.
This is so we can keep our patients and staff safe and healthy and make best use of our resources.
The changes are in keeping with the government’s approach to protecting people against coronavirus by reducing contact to essential circumstances.
The main change is that we are reducing the need for patients to come into the practice by moving to telephone and video consultations where we can. We are also making sure that you can get prescriptions without coming in.
Please call to speak to a doctor between 0830Hrs to 1100Hrs and 1430Hrs to 1630Hrs for advice on the same day.
PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS & MEDICAL CERTIFICATES
Due to the current situation with the Coronavirus outbreak all prescription requests will be dealt with electronically, all medical certificates will be sent electronically through mobile telephones and all GP appointments – both future and pre-booked will need to be cancelled until further notice.

My Care Record allows health and care professionals directly involved in your care, access to information about you.
It is currently available for patients from west Essex and Hertfordshire attending health and care settings.

Extended Hours GP Appointments(Including Saturdays and Sundays)
You can now book appointments on Saturdays and Sundays at Garston Medical Centre and our network of other Practices.
Cross-Watford WEA Extended Hours GP Appointments are now available to our patients every Saturday,Sunday and every evenings. In these WEA Extended Hours appointments your health record may be accessed and viewed by someone other than your registered GP or a GP at your Practice. To book a weekend or late evening appointment, please contact reception as these are not bookable online.

You can now self refer to Watford maternity services for antenatal care without seeing a doctor
